Year 5 Taster Days

We would like to announce that we are launching our Year 5 Taster Sessions to all our feeder schools.

These sessions are designed for children who are most likely to consider joining Maplesden Noakes in Year 7 and who would benefit from experiencing our facilities, exploring our learning environment, and meeting some of the staff they may encounter in the future. We have selected a wide range of subjects for the taster sessions, to ensure the experience is both enjoyable and relevant for your children. The sessions will change every term they are running.

Tuesday 24^th February from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Can you crack the code?? You will be using your maths skills to solve problems and finally crack the code!!!

Tuesday 3^rd March from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

You will get the opportunity to see what a Year 7 music is like, trying an instrument and reading music.

Tuesday 10^th March from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

You will have the chance to develop your language skills. We do French and Spanish at Maplesden, so come along and have fun learning to develop language skills.

Ever wanted to time travel, come to our History taster session and we will take to back to different times in History.

There will be different stations developing different skills, that you need across many different sports.
